Satchel Kornfeld currently serves as the Recruitment and Retention officer at the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association. As a young professional, Satchel has an extensive background in non-profits with over five years of experience.

Prior to Satchel joining us at MCVFRA, he was a Research Analyst at a boutique consulting firm. He was served in the Israeli Defense Forces within Naval Architecture and Engineering. An alumnus of American University, Satchel continues to operate at Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department as an EMT. In his spare time, you can find him participating in many outdoor activities such as the Kennedy 50 and Sierra Club One Day Hike.”
